Christmas Pudding Peanut Butter Pies

Christmas Pudding Peanut Butter Pies

Can you tell i’m excited?!

If you haven’t quite gotten into the festive spirit just yet, here’s the world easiest recipe for you to try out using basically just 2 ingredients! 😉

Think mince pies but filled with Hognuts Christmas Pudding Peanut Butter for a surprise twist instead…

And the pastry? Well, none other than their Shortcrust Pastry Cashew Paste 😀

Making them sugar free, high in protein and low in fat, a little too good to be true perhaps 😉

Best of all you can buy them both from Cardiff Sports Nutrition:

Don’t forget than ‘VIAN10’ also gets you discount 🙂

Ingredients (makes 4):

-Hognuts Cashew Paste

-Hognuts Christmas Pudding Peanut Butter

optional extras

-Chocolate Syrup

Sukrin Gold

1.Before baking, keep the Cashew paste in the fridge for a few hours. When ready, pre-heat your oven to 160 degrees, scoop out 2 Tablespoons of the cashew butter per pie and push down into silicone cupcake moulds. ‘Pinch’ the edges to mimic that ‘pie crust’ appearance.

2.Pop the bases into the oven till they appear golden brown (about 10 minutes). Take another 4 Tablespoons, roll into balls and flatten onto baking paper to make the ‘lids’. Pop them into the oven also till they appear golden brown.

3.Ensure the pastry base has fully cooled (very important to ensure they don’t fall apart) then add a generous Tablespoon of Christmas Pudding Peanut Butter per pie. Cover with the pastry ‘lids’ then add your optional extras of chocolate syrup, cinnamon and Sukrin gold (definitely recommended!).

Enjoy immediately 😀

This is definitely the perfect recipe for nut butter lovers out there such as myself!

I told you it was the worlds easiest recipe, genius or what?

Hope this get’s you into the festive spirit 🙂

Lots of Christmassy Love,
