You may have seen these all over my IG page and it’s clear i’m obsessed with making them..
Lots of people avoid doughnuts like the plague, due to their high calorie, high sugar and high fat content. However, this delicious but healthy recipe swaps all the nasties out and replaces them with healthy basic alternatives.
Best bit? Lots of room for ‘not so healthy’ toppings 😉
Ingredients: (Makes 4 large Donuts)
-60g Coconut flour (I use Sukrin)
-5 TBS Truvia
-1/4 TSP Baking soda
-1/4 TSP Baking powder
–1 Large banana
–80-100g Apple puree
–1 TSP Vanilla
-30g Coconut Oil (I use The Good Stuff)
1.Simple puree your banana with your apple sauce then stir in the melted coconut oil and vanilla extract.
2.Measure your dry ingredients in a seperate bowl then combine with your wet ingredients.
3.Pour into large silicone plastic moulds then cook for 15 minutes at 120 degrees in the oven (you can alternatively make 8 smaller donuts too!)
4.Heres the best bit, once cooked and cooled, decorate however you desire!
