Salted Caramel Maca Donuts (Vegan)
I’m a funny kind of person, if I crave something, I can’t ignore it! But I’m also very creative so insted of jumping out of the house to buy something from the shops, I love experimenting to try and recreating what’s in my head first!
I was craving the soft spongy donut texture and the flavour of salted caramel, lucky for me I had VivoLife salted caramel vegan protein to hand as well as a few other baking essentials I always keep stocked in my kitchen 😊 these are absolutely perfect and make a total of 4 donuts which you can definitely have in one sitting!
Let’s get baking shall we?
Ingredients:
-10g Coconut flour (I use The Good Stuff)
-30g VivoLife Salted caramel protein
-40g Chickpea flour
-1/2 TSP Baking powder
-1/4 TSP Baking soda
-10g Coconut Sugar (I use The Good Stuff)
–150ml Soy milk
-20g Coconut oil (I use The Good Stuff)
-8g Smooth Cashew butter
Method:
1.Simply weigh out your dry ingredients first and pop to one side. Melt your coconut oil and stir it through the cashew butter. Combine both mixtures then slowly add your milk of choice to get a batter like consistency (you may need more or less milk depending on the absorption of your protein powder).
2.Pop in the oven using silicone mounds for around 15 minutes on 160 degrees (for a fan oven)
3.Remove and allow to cool before popping out of the silicone mounds then tuck in!!
Told you it was easy didn’t I?
Can’t wait to see you guys make these!
All my love,
