Acai bowls are ever so popular now thanks to instagram and just how beautiful they look in food photography. Not only are they pretty to look at, they’re delicious and packed full of goodness too!
Acai comes in powder or fresh form; the powder is a lot easier to get hold of, in fact i’ve got a Chocolate Acai Bowl recipe HERE if you’d like to check it out, however I stumbled across frozen Acai Berry packets in Tesco which I highly recommend if you live near a superstore.
Apart from the beautiful natural colour, the second best thing about these bowl is just how fun they are to decorate so get creative 😉
-1 Frozen banana
-1 Sachet frozen açai
-Handful of frozen raspberries
-Handful of frozen blueberries
-20g Protein powder (can omit!)
-100ml Almond milk
1.Run your sachet of Acai under some warm water just to soften it slightly then pop all the ingredients in a blender and blend till creamy.
2,Add your toppings and tuck right in!!
