Double Chocolate Chip Brownie Loaf
Feast your eyes on this decadent, dreamy and delicious creation. Rich, gooey, high protein chocolate brownie loaf with chocolate chips. High protein you say? Surely not, that sounds AND looks too good to be true!
If you’ve ever tried baking with protein powders, you can sometimes find they make the texture quite rubbery and dry, this is where I simply must tell you about the highest quality new protein blend by USN.
USN (Ultimate sports nutrition) were not messing around when they released their BRAND NEW Blue Lab 100% Whey protein, so what’s so special about it?
Well, it’s the first of its kind comprising of a mix of Whey Protein Concentrate, Hydrolysate and Isolate Blend- normally, protein powders are one of the three or a combination of whey and casein if they’re a blend. What does this mean? It means you’re getting 100% of the highest quality protein which boosts a massive 26g in each serving. The blend makes it an absolute DREAM to bake with, cook with and even just drink due to the ease of mixability!
With the market so saturated with protein powders, it’s often so difficult to know what to choose. A lot of cheaper brands pack their proteins with thickeners, fillers and soy proteins so you end up with a mixture of protein that’s actually very low in high quality whey. Not only is their blend composed of the highest quality whey you can purchase, it also packs in a massive 5.8g of BCAA’s in every serving which means its perfect for a fast acting source of recovery after your workouts.
But protein isn’t JUST for bodybuilders or people who lift weights, we need more and more protein as we get older to stop our muscles breaking down. In fact, most people don’t eat near enough the recommended amount of protein daily and a high spec quality whey can really help supplement into your diet. The final selling point for me was the added digestive enzyme. Digestive enzymes are not only very expensive and almost never found in proteins, they ensure you can break down and absorb all the nutrients from your food correctly. They also reduce bloating and discomfort associated with large meals or harder to digest foods, so having them within this protein ensures that 1. Not only are you breaking down the protein effectively but 2. You’ll comfortably digest it without bloating which is a massive win in my eyes!
You can grab a tub here: https://uk.usn-sport.com/en/blue-lab-100-whey-protein and I guarantee you, it’ll be the best protein powder you ever purchased. I even love the flavour and mixability so much that i’ve been making so many delicious chocolate milkshakes with it and i’m not one to drink my protein powders much.
