Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Squares
Hello autumn! You have been beautiful so far, don’t you agree? Clear crisp blue mornings, brown, red and orange leaves and warm comforting cravings.
My taste palate definitely changes with the seasons, I know it sounds silly but I definitely crave completely different things. Right now, I just want to put cinnamon on and I’m everything, there’s something so comforting about cinnamon, it’s taste and versatility.
If you’re a big cinnamon lover then you’ll love these too!
Generous handful of crushed pecans
150g Sukrin Gold (or another sweetener)
2 TBS Cinnamon
1 TSP Baking powder
Pinch of salt
250ml Milk (I used Soy milk)
60ml Coconut oil
A bar of melted chocolate to decorate
1.preheat your oven to 150 degrees then mix up all your dry ingredient.
2.Add your egg and coconut oil first then add the milk, be careful not to use too much as you need a thick dough.
3.Fold in your crushed pecans then place in a lined or oiled oven dish for 25-30 mins.
4.Remove, allow to cool then cut into squares. Melt your chocolate and spoon onto one side before allowing to set in the fridge for 15-20 mins.
